The way I approach photography is the way I approach painting. To distill down images to their essence, so that they become abstractions. It's all about color texture and pattern, no matter what the subject. I see a certain composition when viewing a subject, and shoot what my eye focuses in on. This is all digital photography, which adds spontaneity to the process.
